Visiting pupils and students
If you visit the memorial with school classes, we recommend a guided tour. For workshops with pupils and students our visitor centre is equipped with modern presentation facilities. Please contact us in advance, our staff will assist you.
Educational material is currently elaborated and will soon be available for visiting schools.
The Friends' Association (
Förderverein Gedenkstätte Laura e.V. ) has profound experience in working with groups of pupils and youths. The association provides study material as well as copies of Ryszard Kessler's authentic report about life in "Laura". Members of the association will look after study groups.
The association also offers funding for transport to the memorial. According guidelines and application forms are available as pdf-downloads (German).
The Friends' Association also supports pupils and students, who are writing theses about the camp. Guided tours in the area can be organised by the association.
